Thank you for choosing NewWell HRC!

Is the HRC really a mobile phone and how many numbers can I add to the phonebook?

NewWell HRC can be used as a normal mobile phone. With headphones the sound is very good and when speaking without those, it uses loudspeaker similar to many smart phones (speak from 15-20cm distance).

How accurate is the wrist heart rate measurement?

Accuracy is intended to guide to training, but it is not as accurate as a heart rate belt or ECG. Accuracy is better when wrist has less dynamic movements (e.g. during cycling). Tighten the band carefully as shown in the user manual and start measurement. HRC will calibrate the correct levels for a few minutes and will show accurate measurements after the calibration period.

How do the instant start of exercise and SOS features work?

You can turn on the training view by pressing the lower right side button for three seconds. To set SOS numbers, press shortly the SOS button when you are in the clock view; you will see ”empty, empty” in the screen and you can add two numbers to these fields. After this, NewWell HRC will automatically dial these numbers when you press SOS button for three seconds (if first one does not answer, HRC calls the second one). In addition, HRC will send GPS coordinates as a text message to the number that answers.

How does the Pedometer function?

The Pedometer is based on the accelerometer that measures activity continuously and displays it as steps, calories and distance. This method is very accurate and users can calibrate the Pedometer by adding age, step distance, weight, and gender. The Pedometer keeps the last four days in history for review. Body Charge is also updating continuously at (2min intervals) in NewWell cloud services when sending mode is “on”.

My touch screen is not working?

Sometimes it takes practice to get used to the touch screen function; press it and move your finger calmly. You can also try using it by nail. If screen is frozen, try to restart your HRC.

GPS functions in the sport view are not working?

GPS works outdoors. When you begin your exercise it may take a few minutes to find a GPS connection. It can help to stand still and wait for the ”GPS connection found” message.

Is the NewWell HRC SIM locked?

You can change your own SIM card in to the NewWell HRC. In this case remember to check and change APN settings.

Why I can’t see my training data in Movescount?

Remember to use same email address both for NewWell and Movescount registration. After you have stop your exercise (leave the sport view) it will take six minutes that data will be uploaded from NewWell cloud service to Movescount. At the first time accept ”NewWell RealTimeEvents” data in the Movescount and update the web page. Pedometer data is uploaded to movescount once each day.

How long does the battery last?

The HRC battery lasts 3-4 days with a single charge when it is on wrist and used randomly to check time and pedometer data. Calling, sending text messages and keeping the screen active will decrease battery life. When using the sport view the GPS and HR functions are active as well as data upload to cloud services. You can track 3.5-5 hours of exercise with a single charge. In pedometer live data sending mode a single charge lasts approximately 15 hours. Please note: HRC’s battery may not be full when purchased. It will also act as a mobile phone’s battery and lasts longer when it is charged more than once.

I can´t see IMEI code from the box?

Dial *#06# to call view and HRC will display your IMEI code in the screen.
